Ok not too ago I finally broke my original Xbox headset so I had to go out and get a new one. I decided why not get a wireless one, so I ran around town looking for it and couldn’t find it for shit. So the last store I go to (the one closest to the house) has it. This was around my Birthday so my girl said “don’t worry, I’ll pay for it” so I let her. We get out to the car and she asked to see it. So I pulled it out of the bag and she gives it a once over and says, “I don’t know why it costs 75 dollars!” What?!? What was that?!? 75 DOLLARS!!! You have to be shitting me. Well I wanted to turn around and go right back in there but she pulls out the receipt and it says,
NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND. ALL RETURNS WILL BE FOR IDENTICAL ITEM OF GIVEN STORE CREDIT.
So I decide to go ahead and take it home although I am not all that happy. I charge it up for the first time and go online. The headset has some static but I can deal with it (although in the back of my mind I’m thinking why would I pay $75 for a static-filled headset). Well, this happen to be the same day that G.R.A.W. came out so I couldn’t find anyone online to play with so I ventured into a little MM and called it a night. The next day I tried to venture back on XBL and I put on the headset and what do you know, it’s dead. So I charge it up but by that time my girl had gotten a hold of the TV so no gaming that night. So I leave it sit fully charged for the next time I am ready to play. Well, the next time I grab it, it’s dead. Now I am really starting to boil. I decide to go ahead and charge it again but by the time it finishes, I had fallen asleep on the couch. When I woke up, it’s still plugged in but the LED is flashing orange. I think, hmm no big deal I’ll just unplug it and crash. Well last night I grab it and plug it in a couple of hours before I am going to jump on and the light just blinks at me. I left it alone then ventured into some good ole Halo. I play one game in MM and the headset dies half-way through the game!
That’s it!!! I’m done with the piece of shit! It goes back to the damn store today! I will buy an old-fashioned headset and eat it on the 3 month trial card, take the rest in store credit and Logitec can bite the right side of my ass!!!
