June 10th 4v4 MLG loosing spree

Yeah, see that thing up there... Never picking one up as long as I play... Why? Well let me tell you why... Out of the 9 games I played in the Saturday night 4v4 it was in 6 of those games (Sanc and Midship) Out of those 6 games I picked it up at least twice. I hit only 3 times... I started counting missed lunges in the thrid game and at the end of the night I had 19!!! Forget it, BXB is more reliable.... Anyways, on to the losing spree....

First off, the whole afternoon before this I had spent at a Wedding. Things ran late and I didnt think I was even going to make it. Especially since my wife got sick on the way home. I didnt get to log in till 9:30pm CST and this was supposed to kick off at 9pm. Not sure what happened, but I got lucky and Moesly didnt kick this off till 9:30 (I even got a warmup game of TeamSnipers in Team Training in before hand).

Joy! Let me tell you I wasnt anxious to play vs. any of these guys... However, it didnt turn out as bad as I thought it would. I got the first kill of the game pwning gaara7 from Blue Carb over to their Plasma Pistol spawn (yes I know its a CTF and kills dont matter). For some reason, that put me more at ease for the rest of the game. My teams strategy was driving me crazy; 2 pushing objective with 2 at home defending our flag. It didnt feel agressive enough and left us lacking in both areas. I think we scored first early in the game, but our lead didnt last too long and we ended going into the 15 minute mark tied at 1-1.  Shortly after that both flags got loose. Theirs ended up at the front ramp of our base with 3 of them standing over it (one of them had that cursed weapon I mentioned at the start of this) Myself and one of my teammates respawned close, the other two we trying to keep our flag safe, my teammate did some damage taking out one and I came and cleaned up, grabed the flag to score. No sooner did the mythical annoucer say "Gained the lead"  then our opponents score our flag. TOO BAD ITS SUDDEN DEATH AFTER 15 MINUTES! That would be our only win of the night sad to say....

Since we got spanked for the rest of the night and Im kinda writing this late I will leave the rest of the games out of this. Good games everyone, I had fun and dont worry, I will give a better report when Vexire Fortes plays Alpha on Wednesday.
