Something dont smell so good

Now that the warm days of summer are almost upon us, the step-daughter feels the need to allow me to bond with the baby, whom I often refer to as stinky. This morning for example she asks me the following question.

"Dan, would you mind keeping an ear out for Darion should he wake while taking Davon to work?"

I of course shrugged and cursed under my breath...."I guess so, but hurry back."

The very moment the car headed down the road I heard a faint cry. Oh this is just gonna suck so much...I just new it. I walked up the stairs and down the hallway ;;towards the back bedroom when the fan pushed a not so nice smell my way.

"Christ!" I mumbled.

You know damn well what the smell was, so theres no need for me to go into detail about the stench. The point is this childs mother was not going to be home for at least 30 minutes and to be honest with you all...I dont much do diapers anymore....Until today anyways.

It was not a pretty site...not at all.

Bah, just take it out back and hose it down, little plastic wrap and some ducttape and good as new. If mom came back and found that, youd never get asked to baby sit again. Achievement earned !

Good point Tank. I think maybe the baby would also think twice about every pooing again.

im so glad my kids are past the diaper stage. i would have left the kid on the front step until mommy came home. No need to stink up the house with that.

my sister in law just had a kid, mine are finally potty trained. My wife wants to move her into the house. HELL NO, I say. Ive done my diaper duty, and not only that, since mine are just past that stage, I dont want to see them regress, either. My son did for a while until my daughter finally got it, Im not trying to go through that again. Score:Dad,1 Family moochers,0
