Hell Yeah!!! Its Friday baby!!! Thank god!!

Well here is the latest update on my home theater project..I ordered and received my power conditioner and my component switch over the past few weeks. I found a nice deal on the Monster HTS3500MKII..Here are some pics:


this supposedly "cleans" the power signal going to all your peripherals, it also acts as a surge protector..The reviews were really good for this equipement, and it also comes with a 100,000 dollar warranty to protect your goodies!!

I also ordered a component video switch that also has optical..It is  the Audio Authority 1154..Pics below




What this does is allows me to plug 4 component video sources and 4 optical or Coaxial Audio sources into one unit. Then I only have to use 1 component and 1 optical/coaxial audio input into my T.V. and Audio receiver. Which will free up more inputs for future devices!!! Sweet!!

Now an added bennefit to these components is that my wife will only have to switch to one input on my receiver and one input on my tv!!! I cannot wait, no more "Mike I cant get the dvd to work, or Mike why cant I see tv?" It was driving me freaking insane.

Dont get me wrong, I love my wife with all my heart, but sometimes I am a step away from freaking going postal...

Now I do have a decent understanding on how to hook up home theater equipement, but I only learned it my making all the mistakes and having to figure out how to get things working. But  I would like to have a better understand so I ordered and received.....Home Theater for dummies!!! So I will start reading that and try to get some good ideas from it!!
I will keep you all posted on my home theater project over the next couple of weekends. I will also try to take pictures of the before and after of the spider web of cables that is behind my tv.

I picked up GRAW yesterday and so far it is pretty cool, I have not had a chance to try out the multiplayer yet, but hope to hook up with a few of the guys from the site for that.

Thanks to everyone that posted or reponded to my H2 ability poll..I have started to practice more by going into mm more often..It seems to have been working, my confidence is starting to build a little bit..
