The first day of class was no big deal. These first two days are Mac software/OS troubleshooting and I do that all the time at work already. Most of it I knew but there have been some great tips and tricks. Tomorrow is the last day of this initial class followed by the first test. I would bet I would have no problem passing the test but I will be studying tonight regardless.

Well, I made it to Austin and this is my home for the next ten days-
I'm here in Austin for training and testing to become an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician for my work at the university. The training is seven days of classes with three tests along the way. The first two should be not too bad but the last one is a killer from what I understand. I'll keep you posted.

I work in the IT department of a decent sized state university. Our department recently sent out a campus wide email warning the staff and faculty of an email phishing scam that was making the rounds at the time.
