sure, I'd love anything you'd like to send my way.
I checked out the club garage and there are a bunch of fantastic paint jobs and liveries, tunes are always great, especially if unlocked
Hey all. I already posted an introduction in the New in Town section of the main forum, and got the ingame invite from Grim, but I am still a complete club newb and have a really basic question. I had (wrongly) assumed that a primary function of a club in Forza would be to give you a separate club lobby in the online play section so that any online members could automatically race with each other. Since that is not the case, what is the best way to race with other club members outside of the scheduled events? Since most of my time has been spent racing the ai, I would like to get some practice with human opponents, but I can't handle the crap that usually goes on in the public lobbies.
First dont be shy with your friends request. You can then see who is online and in "private races" You can then hop in the private race by "Join race in progress" option when you select thier name. Fridays are pretty quite around here but there should be some pickup races throughout the weekend. Once you get in the lobby, send out some fr's to those in the lobby to increase your visiblity to online races.
Big thing, dont be shy and hope to see you on the track
Also, you can go to the "my club" section & see who's on until you've made some friends on your own list. If, you're looking to get into some racing, start up a lobby & use the "invite club members" option. It will mass invie everyone in the club. then if there's another room already going, you'll probably get an invite in return to that room. Just don't be shy & put yourself out there & you will be fine.
New to the group and just starting to get back into Forza 4, was looking for a Spec Miata group and stumbled across this fantastic group! Already put in for a number and will hopefully start joining events soon! I'm sure I'll have more questions than answers at this point! I am in Minnesota, so please let me know what division I should be in going forward.
Welcome bro. there's only one US division these days. I'm sure one of the guys will be along shortly & can get you added in game. Just ask if there's anything you need & we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Hello everyone Im Jason gamertag wormwood70 , just got approval today took a while but im in. Im 42 yr old a complete forza addict level 370 over 500cars , do a bit of tuning and a bit of painting, just keen to get racing with a few like minded racers, so hopfilly see you all soon , laters
Welcome to the site, fellas. Don't be bashful about sending FRs...we're doing something Forza related every night and there's no shortage of guys to race with.
my real name is Marco and I am 39 and living in Hamburg, Germany. I just recently returned to playing racing games on my XBOX 360 and I am impressed how far FM4 has come concerning the driving physics.. I love a fair race with matching "weapons", so I will need some help to find the right tune for my cars.
I sometimes play with a friend of mine, who raced the Green Hell with his Porsche as an amateur driver a few years ago, so I might not always be me behind the wheel.
My wife and my two daughters do not share my passion for racing (until now) and it might happen, that I have to leave a race, because of the kids pulling their hair out or other family catastrophes.
I work as a IT consultant in our company, so I might not be the guy to ask for a tuning, but when there are questions concerning IT infrastructure, Exchange or Security. That's my expertise.
So see you on the track and put the pedal to the metal.
Obviously new to this site... also new to Xbox. I bought it a couple months back as a boredom killer while being laid up after back surgery. I'm not a console gamer, much. Definatley not a joystick gamer... too much 'twitchy-thumb'. I bought Forza 4 because car racing sounded fun. It is. I'm not so good at it though, nor will I ever be a leaderboard type. I'll probably be an 'under-card' type... s'ok. It's a game, it's fun.
I'm also the one that posted about having seen the Ford GT40 (#2, 1967), that Bruce and Mark frove to 4th at Le Mans. I'm of that era. Many of the cars in here are the ones I grew up aroud. Some I've driven. Some on a track, although not officail, just fun.
West Coast US, so a Yank. I'm reading up on series. I watched (live) Parnelli Jones and George Folmer run Boss's in the old Trans-Am series. Iike that era, along with the old Can-Am. That's what was local to see. ABC's Wide World of Sport showed the rest. (Yep, that date me too... LOL!)
Like most, I've got about 150 cars, bought a bunch of setups, and paint jobs, and have my favs... I'm looking forward to meeting others who like the cars, game. I'll wave as ya go by... no prob :)
Like a poster a few above me, I've been IT for 25+ years. Semi-retired high-tech trainer. I got off that treadmill a few years back though... I'm kinda tired of fiddling with the tools just to get 'em to work.. ah well... I remember when you could change yer own oil... now it takes a computer... LOL! I've also got some free time in day gaps here. My wife just rolls her eyes when I tell her I bought another Ferrari (BMW/Audi/Porsche), and lets me have my turn at the tv... :)
I'm still fishing in the forums to get a bead on what's here. I've seen the 'how to drive' videos. Need to watch thema few more times. I'm about 20 secs behind Leaderboards,a nd just starting to turn assists off, and use manual shift. (with my controller, not wheel.) I'd like to get into a Trans-am (of sorts = American Muscle, etc.) series, a GT(?) series (I like some of the S and R3 rides.)
For now, just trying to hook up for some practice would be fine. I sure need it!

Mac, let's get together in a lobby. I believe you're on my Friends List. I have a ton of the more vintage type cars that you might like. I have quite a few in the lower classes so we can take 'me for a spin and I can maybe give you some pointers on Forza driving. I am on the East Coast but I work at night. I'm usually on after I get home, just about 8pm to 9pm your time. See ya soon.
Hello everyone. Not entirely new around here, but it's been a while. I was thinking about dusting off the old game and getting some into some competitive racing, I still have a couple of you guys on my FL but would love to meet some of the new guys. See you on the track.

How times have changed, It used to be ignore Parcells! Fitzy, well done!
Agree with everything gizzy stated above. Feel free to jump in anytime you see any of us running in a private lobby and have some fun.
@ Mac - I sent you a FR and an invite to the North American Garage in game. Track night is indeed a great chance to learn a track and get to know the guys. This friday we are running the Nordschleife track @ 9:00pm EST so hope hully we will see you there. There is also a series on Satuyrday nighst called the Lotus Cup (we are off the next two weeks though) where it would be good for you to get your feet wet in a series with an easy car to drive in the Silver Cup races. Looking forward to seeing you on the track.
@ Marco - If there is anything we can do to help, let us know.
Mac, look up Gentleman Racer and get on his friends list. he's probably the most prominent "old car" afficionado around here.
There's many of us that like them as well, but he's obsessive! Look me up too if you like, I'll drive just about anything RWD and occasionally can be pressured into other "stuff".
My name's Justin. Gamertag Wakeman, ("Wake" is fine). About to turn 33 years young.
Same story as many I think. A joined 2o2p around 2 years ago, and then had another baby. Two girls now (5 and 2yo), happy marriage, limited time to play but more than a year ago.
I've played Forza since FM1, and have always enjoyed it. I just picked up FM4 (late to the party), and transfered over a few cars/creds from my FM3 save. I'd love to join up with the crew here to race scheduled events. I'm a novice painter and slightly more skilled tuner.
I'm definately into cars. I've had a lot of fun ones over the years. My current toy is an all original '83 Monte Carlo SS with 49K miles. It's a fun cruiser, but I think I'll be selling it in the spring to fund a Miata autocross car. I had my first autocrossing experience this summer up at Loudon, NH in a 360 Modena. I'm hooked.
I looked at the club numbers and saw "80" was available if I could get it. Looking forward to racing with you all, and playing with like-minded old folks! :)

Wake, I accepted your FR and sent you a club invite. Lets's hook up in a lobby soon and do some driving. Also, check out the events sub forum to see what's going on. Don't be bashful. Sent out club invites when you see club mates are online. There is always someone on. See you soon.
