Anyone still watching this? Season Finale was last night. They didn't really answer anything.
I do have one thing I've noticed. How old is Hauser (Sam Neill's character)? The inmates went missing in 1963 and retrned in 2012. He was a guard. Being conervative, let's say he was 18 in 1963. That would make him 68 in the heart of the show. That makes no sense.
Now, I know I'm nitpicking a show about how an entire prison's population did a Houdini for 50 years and no one really noticed but COME ON!!!!
I wanted to like this show. I haven't yet seen the finale, because it's been a struggle for me to watch the past few without falling asleep. To me, the only casting that stands out is the warden and Hurley. The female lead and Sam Neil are terrible actors in this show.
And, would it be so hard for just 2 characters to talk to each other about what's going on?

I don't get why they just don't ask the 2 docs on their team how the hell they got there. I watch the show, it's ok, but it's that type of shit that gets to me. Does anyone know the ratings for this show? I'd be surprised if it comes back next year.
I saw some potential in Alcatraz. I admit that potential never quite hit the screen but I'll miss it. We'll never know what happened.
