In other news!

These past few weeks we have welcomed some new faces to the club as Sigwolf, Cherry BamBam,  slowpoke274, Flugel Meister and Gigantor Cat look to hit the track running.  Welcome guys!

This past Tuesday, the Global Icon Series had its final shakedown week in the segment three cars as we prepare for the closing races.  Next week, the guys head to Road America for both the Euro and North American rooms as we kick off the final segment. Going to be fun as the battle for the championship is still up for grabs in both rooms.

Our weekly Wed Night Track Night (hosted by gizzygod) has you running every class at a set track each week. This past week the guys raced at Iberian with a great turnout as always.

Following the lead of the Wed Night Track night which runs a Euro friendly start time, we are starting a Friday Night Track Night using the same concept only starting @ 9:00pm EST which should improve the North American participation level.

This week the WeeklySaturdaySuperFunEvent (hosted by A Tricootertops) broke out the Exotics and raced at several tracks with a nice turnout (10-12 racers at one point) and even though the racing may not have been as close as usual, everyone had a great time and we look forward to the next event.

The second season of the BTCC is starting to take shape the drivers are working hard on their cars and getting ready for what looks to be a fantastic season. With 24 drivers signed up across two lobbies, we are sure to have some great races starting October 6^th, 2013

With the Renault V6 Clio Trophy Cup series wrapping up this past Sunday, we are happy to announce that SnappyDee has a new series taking its place on Sunday evenings as we break out the Eighties Sport Cars in a couple weeks.

Finally, we have a new 4 week series that will be taking place on Thursday nights as Prebuiltabyss gets ready to host the Thursday Night Small-bore Race Series!  Look for more info soon as we get closer the drop of the green flag.

In addition to the above, we frequently have a number of random lobby races where the guys just run random tracks and cars.  These are a great way to try out new cars and improve your racing skills, not to mention have a great time.

It’s not all about racing though here at 204F, we have our weekly Thursday Night Throwdown (or now known as Hitting Balls with Cars) as we head to the soccer field for some great fun and laughs. A few of us are not hitting the links in Tiger Woods 14 where we get to drive something other than a racecar! Finally with the recent release of GTA-5, some of us have formed our crew and looking to have some fun. A few of us even broke out the Horizon disk this past week and had a good time.  Who know, Horizon might be making a come-back as the interest is starting to pick up again. So even though FM4 is still the primary focus here at 2O4F, we still have fun doing other stuff as well.
