Ran last night with Enzo, Roush and whatever misfit miscreants snuck in, public lobby all A class, not my favorite place to be, and to my surprise I did good.
Now mind you, good for me in this bunch is middle of the pack, but I did just that, and occasionally I was in the top, which got me all dizzy and starry eyed, as it never happens. This is a group that runs clean, reasonably to be sure, and if you don't, you get shown the door, and yet they can be some beastly damn competition.
Roush, you owe me for that hairpin pileup, I was leading at Infineon...
Also, I ran Raddo's 850CSi at Road America and had a great run barely, and I mean barely getting beat by Bullet in a Mustang at the line fighting for 3rd-4th, I think he got me by a wheel. Again, a great run but a greater race as we traded slots the whole race.
Most of the night I ran Saleen 281 and 281E's, not leaderboard car's but damn competitive.
This was one of those "run into it by accident and wish it never ended" runs you yearn for.
I think Enzo runs these every Friday? A class-real tracks only. Oh, and I beat Enzo with his own tune once, how cool is that?
Oldschool... I saw you and I think Jarhead in a lobby last nite and tried to join but couldn't connect. It would get to a blurred lobby screen, said something like one moment please and then I was back out in the selection screen. Did you see me trying to get in?
It was my first attempt to pop in a public lobby with people from my friends list and man, I was saddened that I couldn't get in. Just curious if my gamertag popped on your end or if it screwed anything up while I tried two or three times.
Anyway.............
I don't think I saw it. We did have a few try and fail last night, and sometimes we were full as well.
Psyber, I saw when you were trying to get in and then it said you left. The best thing to do when that happens is to hit your xbox guide button, then hit the X button to sign out of xbox live. This will put you back at the Forza 4 startup screen. Then just sign back into xbox live, load up Forza 4 and try again. This has worked for me everytime I couldn't get into a lobby.

I have run with these guys and they are a lot of fun. They are good with helping out where they can with tunes and cars.
Beware of getting sucked in on some "off the wall" banter though.

Its best to not say anything to GSR Roush. He is cranked up. I get plenty of laughs listening to him though.
Oh, no way! I have a blast messing with him, it's defintely back n forth, don't give if you can't take it.
I wouldn't nominate him for recruiting though...
