Maybe it's the terrible roads but i am so happy we rarely see those missed abortions driving around in the Northeast. Any time I am in the South I do a double take when I see those. Think of the money they save on jackstands. They can change their oil at a moment's notice.
@Zed: I live near atlanta and I do see at least a couple cars a week with 22"+ rims that have been raised. Usually Lincoln Towncars, Crown Vics, Impala's. Never seen anything THAT crazy though.
@pysber: I doubt those cars are road worthy. With that much inertia on those wheels, stopping would be a problem plus the suspensions must be screwed up beyond all comprehension.
I could have saved them a ton of money though, I bet you could find old tractor rims that size (or BIGGER!) for next to nothing.
Biggest I would go on my STI is 18s. And god, if I ever did I hope someone would shoot me for ruining an STI like that (or any car for that matter)!!!!
Raising cars up, and lowering trucks...I just dont get it. Slamming a full-size dually to the ground, for example. But I guess those guys look at me just as perplxed...having a racing rig that goes absolutely nowhere! lol
Americans allways going over the line!!
Atrocious.
Shit like this makes me sad...
I had to edit what I put down first
That's one dumb dude.
Now, now. Advocating violence as a solution is never...wait. WTF? Hand me them shotguns!
seems the size of the rims is directly inversely-proportionate to the size of thier brains.
or thier manhood
Needs village idiot spraypainted across the hood.
Holly Shit, Hotwheels adult edition.
So what do you think the rolling mass is on those things? I'm sure the stock brakes will work fine guys. Good work!
For as much as those rims and tires probably cost I bet they could've got a supercharger kit or suspension upgrade.... something...
What. The. Fuck. They should be shot. Why would you spend 10 grand to make a cool car ugly?
Not cool
At least most of the comments on youtube are appropriate.
Are all they capable of is driving in a circle in a parking lot?
I mean, that is cool as hell and would love to do that to my STI, but only if I can drive it all over New Jersey!
Aweeee Yeah.......

I prefer 15" myself, 14" in places...sadly if it ain't 16" these days, it's damn expensive...

i'll have to see if i can get a pic but there is a 70 something challenger running around ocala on big ass rims like that.
