I swear I'm all set to roll a Jedi, I'm so tired of getting my ass kicked in PvP. I need help! My main is a Sith Marauder. I think i do ok, but I always seem to get stuck on Team Fucktard. I had an epic nerd rage tonight and am thankful I was not on Mumble. One game on Alderaan, I had 6 Jedi's kicking my ass on grass and yet my team STILL could not cap mid. At most there were 2 guys there. I just don't get it. I actually put out decent numbers. I'm usually up top as far as damage. I get a lot of kills and usually not too many deaths.
I know the first fix is to go with a pre-made. I'm killing myself by not doing that. Any other tips or tricks? I know I need to work on passing on Huttball. It's very difficult for me to go from close range fighting to then view down field to pass.
What finally made me lose my shit was a game on Huttball. We were winning easily. I force leap to someone near that jump pad thing and I get stuck under the map. So I type /Stuck which then takes me outside the map completely. /Stuck command is on a 60 second cooldown so I get booted from the game due to inactivity.
Dude...the reality is that there are enough premades now, that when you solo queue, your getting matched up against one. It is the main reason I don't log on for PvP anymore. If it's not a raid night, I just don't care to PvP. If you see me on, I will always hook up. Best option is we set a night (not Mon or Wed) and do group PvPs. Sun, Tues or Thurs and I would be down. Make it a regular thang...
If you find yourself queing with the same people, stop and wait a few minutes to get a different group. My solo luck is just that, luck. Lately I've been getting in on matches with premades on my side. In the last 20 games I've won 15. Sometimes I'll only win 1 out of 10.
I do PVP every night because you fuckers don't take me on raids. I'll always team up to make a pre-made. If you start sucking and do stupid shit I will yell at you.
Its so odd. Like is said I've never had issues with PvP on our side. I almost always win my matches in the first few ques. I will say, the idea that the grass is greener on the other side is a pipe dream. You're only going to run into the same problem and hate yourself for it.
I hate to say it, but the best way to save yourself the time and anger is to leave at the first sign of fail. Like fade said, the amount of premades you run against now is insane. Full battlemaster 4-8 mans will tear you a new asshole even if they're terrible. When you know the group sucks, leave and start farming amorments. Reque and prey you get a better group. That method has always worked for me.
I have to leave fail groups earlier. When I see tanks with 14k hit points I should just bolt. I'll try queuing up with you guys as well.
STUPID NEWB QUESTION:
Should I be swapping out the mods in my Champion gear? I noticed I had a lot of accuracy, and I'm not sure if that's needed or not.
With it being so close to 1.2 it's not really a good idea. All the stats will be changing a lot by then.
