PS3 Overstocked in Europe?

Good news, if you live in the Europe, it seems you'll have no problem getting yourself a PS3 at launch. At least that's true in the UK, CNET's Crave Blog is talking about just how many units should be available at product launch.
The PS3 will be so easy to get hold of on launch that GameSpot's Guy Cocker told us, "Right now, it's about as hard to get a PS3 for launch as it is an orange in California -- either Sony has poured units into Europe, or the demand's just not there."
Pre-orders were not as high as initially though, the product is flooding into the UK and Europe without any sign of stopping. However, the question remains, is it because Sony has caught up production or perhaps nobody wants to buy the PS3.

It may be hard to judge who is going to buy or not buy before launch but if pre-ordering is any sign - it may not be so hot of a product launch.

What could be the problem?
  • Lack of good titles
  • High priced cost
  • Product delays causing some grief amongst gamers.

Best reason from Sony's camp? We'd guess: lack of good consoles. That can be fixed in the coming months but high costs may not be going away for some time to come.
