Who here watched the CSI NY episode last night? It dealt with an online killer who used Second Life to gain access to a US Congresman.

I had never heard about Second Life before, but it seemed to me a little like W.O.W without the quests. I was impressed with all the techi-stuff that CSI NY has had this season. They really revamped the show to get into the hightech side of criminology. I am sure it is all "made for TV" but it does keep me watching.

Does anyone play Second Life on here?

My wife and I work many hours and give up time together to do be good at our jobs. She manages a large store that specializes in crystal, and I am an airline crew controller. Years of learning how to sell and balance books for her. Years of military, college and actually flying for the airlines for me. And Sunday we got the call!

This is it, the bigs baby! Someone sees that we rule and are going to pay us fat cash!

Nope, our dog was named Pet of the Week at PetSmart.

Seeing all of you being able to log on and enjoy Halo 3 makes me hate my 12 on 12 off shift. Well, for the next two days that is. Then I am off for 4 straight days and can have fun too.

Here is a question, that I have not been able to find an answer to on any of the blogs or forums:

Does the "Armor Type" effect ANYTHING or is it just a cosmetic thing??? And which versions do you get when you start out?

Yesterday was just an ordinary day for me. I woke up at 5pm as I am working mid shift this month, and let the dog out. Took a shower and got dressed and was on my way to work. That is when my life was about to change.

As I put my car into reverse, I heard a tone beep. The tell tale sound of a text message. So thinking it might be important I hit the brakes and checked to see what or who it could be. The message was simple and to the point, it read: "ASU rocks the world"

If I read that article correctly, there will be little to no clan support on the new Halo. Evidently it was one of the least popular features. In the clan I was in on Halo 2, we did very little in the way of clan matches. It was hard enough to get everyone on at the same time, let alone get into clan matches. And when we did we found that we were being sandbagged. Some very high level players just kept going in their clan until they plateu and then start a new one. That and all the cheating and such made regular matchmaking in partys or groups a lot more fun.
