Anyone that has been following this blog knows I am a huge Halo fan. Not only do I play, but its universe, design and art are a major source of inspiration for my own work. When Halo 3 was getting ready for release I did weekly Halo pieces for the last 4 weeks before release. Next month Halo REACH lands and I want to do the same thing here at my Blog. So in honor of the upcoming release I am doing a Halo REACH piece each week till release.

Finally finished up the VOLTRON illustration. In answer to Beefy's question in the comments of the Ink version last post, the Publisher is Moonstone. I wasn't sure until i got the contract last night. :lol: Sorry Beefy. :D Anyway its looking pretty close to how I wanted it to. Funny how they never look like they do in your brain. :lol: I guess thats what keeps an artist motivated to do more and get ever closer to that elusive goal . Ok thats a bit to heavy for Friday morning. The book is due to ship in Dec so look for it if you think of it this Holiday.

Working on an illustration of the famous cartoon robot VOLTRON for a coffee table book all about the metal hero. I think he is based on a toy right? Im not sure because i wasn't a Voltron kinda kid. :lol: I will post inks and color as they get finished.

 Not to be out done by his fellow Avenger I guess, today pops up on the web a full figure release of what Thor's movie costume will look like. Im digging it all except the legs. They look like pants from a black suit!! WTF!!! They should match his arms if you ask me. There is a little more on this here.
