Saw The Dark Knight Friday night. I will try not to spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet. I thought it was very good. Probably one of the best villain portrayals to date. I wont be surprised to see Ledger nominated for an oscar. Although over all I think it was too long and that its story rambled a bit. It began to feel abit contrioved with the contstant elaborate Joker schemes. Compared to the previous flick, Batman Returns, this over all story wasn't nearly as tight and effective in my opinion. As compared with Iron Man i would say this was a tie.

Been so busy doing comic character sketches lately I have been neglecting my first love, Halo art!! :D So its time for some new Halo stuff. My next installment of DKS is almost finished. I am actually trying to get 2 ready for one post kind of a double header. Ok those of you paying attention will remember that i posted up the pencils for this piece a long time back.

Ok that last Silver Surfer Babe image I posted a couple weeks ago was one of the most bland things I have ever done. I hold my head in shame. :oops: :lol: I have wanted to do something more dynamic and interesting using the idea of a Female Silver Surfer ever since I posted that bald headed silver man with boobs. :lol: :lol: So this week i am posting up a new interpretation. Now im much happier with this one but it still has issues. The pose is from a reference shot but its not completely working. The left leg is wiggy.

And to celebrate I have done a quick Red, White & Blue Avenger rendered in grey! :lol: :lol: The idea for the pose and the shading came from outstanding posters for the upcoming Punisher movie that have popped up on line. If you haven't seen them you should check em out they are great photographic interpretations of the Tim Bradstreet cover stylings for the comic. They are awesome and got me inspired. :D
