 and we found out we are having a boy.  So now the baby has a name....Zavier.  It is crazy to know that I am having a son.

I some of you know or may not know I am being shipped to the night shift for a little over a month. If you couple that with the "You are doing well at your job but not good enough to get promoted and we are promoting someone else" talk I am bent out of shape with my job. So with my spirits down my wife tells me I am getting an early birthday present to help make the next month or so go faster. She got me a Zune HD to upgrade from my original (first generation) Zune. I am really happy she got me something so thoughtful.

 As a random invite happened so started another chapter in PPC lore.  The day the upstart Happy Hour Heroes joined the fold.  Yes, that's right.  HHH has joined forces with PPC in an effort to return to the glory that once was....ummm...well it sounded good.....so I updated the banner and I need to change my clan tag in MW2....later.

I will be starting a clan on 360 for primarily Modern Warfare 2 but will include other games the clan would like as well called Happy Hour Heroes. I currently have 12 people on a google group and I am waiting for all 12 to sign up here so we can make this official (I am waiting on the last 5). I am interested in getting some established 2o2p members in here as well. If you are interested send me a PM or send me a FR (gametag: Shuttdown) so you can get in some games with us. I look forward to seeing you out there.

 Well DV was taking stock and trimming the fat to get a more efficiently functioning clan.  There was a call to arms and a refocus of play Gears 2 more.  That game was just not in my rotation anymore.  I felt like it was something I had to do on Fridays and not something I wanted to do.  So without prompting I left the clan.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the DVers that I met and gamed with.  It was a short but good ride.  I spoke with Brick and he told me to let me know if I get the itch for Gears again.  I will do that.  So until then I will see you guys around.

In a positive twist of fate my school sent me a check for over paying my tuition. The wife let me have one last big purchase before our child arrives. So I picked up a 47" 1080p Vizio. How sweet is that?

 Well I was at the doc's today with the wife and we had our first ultrasound.  The baby looked good and the heartbeat was strong.  Just thought I would share the pic with you guys:

Well as I posted I graduated college. Now some other news. Just weeks later I found out I am going to be a dad. Talk about a few life changing events in a matter of weeks...

I am going to continue the positive streak here and talk about what I am playing.  Currently, I am trying to bang out Fallout 3 on the PS3 and just started Prince of Persia on the 360.  I am also throwing some Left 4 Dead in the rotation.  I am still up for Gears anytime so hit me up for some hoarde mode.
