With the annoucement of a next generation version of Archon coming, and I am sure many people forgot about the game or never even heard about it.. here is the GIST and a video.

Description

Archon is visually very similar to chess, but with a number of significant changes.

You will probably remember this video from the net, really the first Viral Video ever..

and this is another good example of animation.. with a program called Animation Master by HASH you could do this in 20 minutes if you had the models and the dance animation already (which is very easy to find both)..

While I know the number of PC gamers is dropping, those who still have a hankering for some PC RPG action should check out Silverfall. It has a Diablo feel to it (which is a good thing) but also a bit of Dungeon Siege vibe.. The demo is certainly worth trying, and the videos show some combat (bottom)

I had ZERO knowledge of this game until a few minutes ago and can not believe how nice it looks (Visually) and clean it looks (game play wise).
