We have a new movie starting up at work this week (staring Uma). We are a commercial only type place, so no one but me has any real experience working on this type of project, so I volunteered my time to help out in the evenings. So basically I am working two jobs for the next two months, and getting paid for two jobs as well, I will be getting my regular salary for working midnights doing my regular job and I will be getting a freelance rate in the evening assisting someone else with the movie.
In this capitalist world we live in why would anyone want to find a cure for anything that ails us? It is way more profitable to "treat" what is wrong with us then to cure it.
Why would governments reform, and start spending tax dollars wisely? They would just be taking money out of there own pockets.
Why make quality goods, if you make sub par goods people will have to buy more sooner.
None of these are original thoughts, just some shit that bugs me at 4:30 in the morning.
We have some clilents from Buffalo, great bunch of guys, easy to get along with, know what they want and are a pleasure to work with. Anyway, they sent a gift package today just because, I can't wait to see what is in it tonight!
Some dumb ass client decided to day to take their work somewhere else. It has been in our schedule for over a week, and it’s a three-day shoot. I plan my week around this shit!
