I don't care what JK Rowling says. She has lost my respect. Why does it matter what his sexual preference is? Is it some lousy attempt to expand her audience? As I recall, this was a children's book.

My wonderful friends from work threw a baby shower in Madison's honor today. I had my mom pick Madison up from daycare to attend. It was a very exciting moment. I tend to be a little on the shy side, so when my co-workers asked me if I wanted to get started I said, "I don't know what to do." I haven't had a baby shower in ten years. Do I just start opening presents, or give a speech? So they told me to sit in the chair that was placed strategically in the middle of the room and they would begin handing me gifts for Maddie. OH MY GOSH! There were so many.

Today is my first day back to work following giving birth to my beautiful daughter, Madison Victoria. It was sad to have to leave her but I knew she would be fine. I have known the babysitter for ten+ years and she has looked after my three other children. Everyone at work was glad to see me. They all wanted to see pics of Maddie. I will have to print some off our digital camera to show. My co-workers are throwing me a baby shower in honor of Madison on the 19th. I can't wait. I am going to bring Madison in to show her off.
