Tonight I asked my girlfriend of six years to marry me. As luck and the fates would have it, she said yes. Now I know that this website is dedicated to video games and that most of the people here would rather avoid anything resembling romance. However, I consider many here to be members of my extended family and thus wish to share this special evening with them. So if you feel you know me well enough to be considered a RL (Real Life) friend, then by all means please join us in celebrating this moment.

Just wanted to touch base to let everyone know that we are still in South Carolina and having a great time. Sleeping in a bit, taking walks on the beach and eating some amazing food. We don't have he ability to upload photos from the road, but I am posting random pics to my Twitter feed if you want to check out what we have been up to. While on the road, I have also been busy confirming final plans for our trip to NYC next weekend for ComicCon and then the following week's plans for the Rock N Shock Horror Fest.

So I have been getting a ton of emails, texts, PM's and Twitter DM's asking "where the hell have you been lately?" Well the primary answer has been "Working or sick and dying" which pretty much sums up my last two weeks. First, I was assigned to a HUGE project at work creating a corporate training program that will be rolled out to out entire company next week. This is a great opportunity for me with regard to my job and future upward mobility, but as you may have guessed, it is taking up a ton of my time.

Yeah, yeah I know, I am about 3 weeks too late with this news. But since I just ran into it last night while catching up on everything Gears 3 over at the Epic forums, I figured maybe someone else missed this as well as me. The biggest news about Gears of War 3 for me right now is that Bernie Mataki has been confirmed to be in the third installment (no confirmation if she will be playable in mulit-player similar to Dizzy in Gears 2 or if she will simply be a NPC pushing the story line).

Yeah, yeah I know, I am about 3 weeks too late with this news.
