It's been far to long since I've been back to the site....I just got done deleting a bunch of old topics here on my blog space and I went from 6 points to -26...hot damn! I got me some work to do.

Well, here it is! My own fricking room to game in! Me so happy to finally be able to run everything off of one monitor and all of it in one room.

The monitor has a built in dvd player, is hooked up to cable tv, my PC as well as the all mighty 360! To some this set up might not be much...but for me it is my own tiny slice of gaming nirvana.

The Jungle is what I will be calling my gaming room.

My youngest boy is moving over to his brothers room, now that the oldest has shipped out to Fort Benning...Im not at all used to that boy not being here I tell ya...I miss the boy.

Here are some of the before pictures, hope to have the after pics up by sunday. Its gonna be so nice not sitting on the edge of the bed playing on my 360 anymore! Its gonna be nice having both PC and 360 in same room finally!

As of 7pm tonight I will have one year under my belt with my wife. And what a year it has been at that.

Sunday is my son Brians going away to bootcamp/high school graduation party. The boy ships out in 12 days. Im feeling more and more sad and yet even more proud of my son for doing what he is doing, during these troubled times in this fucked up world we live in.

My ex-inlaws and my ex-wife will be on hand, as well as countless other relatives from that side of the family. Im just glad I actually have a good relationship with my ex-inlaws....the ex-wife on the other hand....stupid she is.

This month my 18 year old son went to Seatle as a graduation present with four of his friends. His best friends dad works for Microsoft and LIVE. The boys were given a personal tour by Major Nelson, showing how things run over at the LIVE HQ...he was so dammed excited to tell me about it when he got home last week.

Major Nelson took time to give my son and his buddies a nice tour and will never really know just how much it meant to my son before he ships out for basic training on July 13th.

This father cant thank the Major enough.

Something dont smell so good

Now that the warm days of summer are almost upon us, the step-daughter feels the need to allow me to bond with the baby, whom I often refer to as stinky. This morning for example she asks me the following question.

"Dan, would you mind keeping an ear out for Darion should he wake while taking Davon to work?"

I of course shrugged and cursed under my breath...."I guess so, but hurry back."

I will be honest with you all...I have no memories of that day but my mother on the other hand tends to go on and on about it...trying to make me feel guilty in some way Im sure.

Yes, May 7th of the year 1965 is the day of my breach birth, tornados and massive flooding here in the great state of Minnesota. Is it really my fault that in August of 64 my mom and her boyfriend opted to do the funky dance in the backseat of a car,nowing damn well that it might lead to something down the road seeing as how they didnt use protection?

In some ways Im so fricking happy, but in other ways Im starting to feel sad and scared at the same time.

In six weeks we will see the graduation of my son and my wifes daughter. This ought to be an interesting event to say the least. Its funny how you realize your getting old based on the fact your children are graduating high school. Having been a single parent for most of my childrens life, Im finding it hard to let go of my oldest.

I think that tonight I might have pulled something in the lower intestine area. Tonight we had some of the wifes world famous, gut busting, ass ripping tacos and all hell is breaking loose here on the home front. We fed a grand total of 10 family members....thats ten people trying to use one toilet.

Not pretty.

Hell, even the two newborns are ripping some major ass in the house and all they had for dinner was boob juice.
