I'm just chillin' and cranking the tunes today. I'll probably go see Will Smith in Hancock later. The rumor mill is touting that he's bought into Tom Cruise's BS and it playing around with Scientology now. That's too bad. If that's true, my respect for him will dwindle a litte. Still though, his movies are usually good or at least, they're different stages of good and rarely suck.

I had the best time yesterday. With the kids off for the summer visiting relatives, the old lady and I have the opportunity to spend some quality time together. We live in Tampa, and decided to........ no, screw the beach, it's raining. We went out to Ybor. The Ybor area is a mixed bag of clubs, bars, restaurants, shops, tattoo parlors, cigar stores and young people getting drunk and high and acting stupid, all amongst old Cuban-American architecture. It's kinda like the Bourbon Street area in Nawlins (it wishes). That being said, there is also a distinct "weirdo" element everywhere.

I hope all you fathers out there are able to be with you kids today, or at least are able to get in touch with them. Don't forget your own father in the process. My children are actually with my father this weekend. I have just returned from a vacation with them all. I was able to go fishing with my father this week which is a treat that I don't get as much as I would like.
