Okay: I work for the Feds, and I have forgotten some little quirks that happen when you work for such a huge organization.

Two nights ago I gamed with someone that I actually knew in RL, in an on line game. It was  so weird! And I had to work with him the next day!  how awkward. No not really, it was actually kinda nice. We played MUA... he plays with Spider Woman: and she actually rawks! She may stay in my own stable.

Why The Wacko Feminist Nutjobs May Be Onto Something

The novelty has worn off this "back to work" thing. yuck.  How I actually have to think about how I am going to make my time there both a) productive: cause I do NOT waste the Canadian Taxpayer's $$, it's just not DONE people!, b) fullfilling in the career sense and c) a bit more exciting/stimulating.  I am convinced it can be done!  Note: at work: I can see my RSS feed, but I cannot click on any of the links. So that isn't too bad.

Well, I shouldn't call it insomnai, cause I think insomnia is a medical term, and I am not a doctor. But sometimes I don't sleep. Like last night. I distinctly remembering hearing the paperboy deliver the paper, and it get delevered at an obscene hour.  When I can't sleep, I lie there, take deep breaths and try to be restful although I am awake. Problem? When I say "ug: I didn't sleep last night." the man says "ya you did, I could tell by your breathing". ah well.

Today is Sean's day to sleep in, but I know he will take over if I neep an nap, and I really need one today!

well not really. When I first started with HC, the section was science based (you have to have a biology degree to get the job-makes sense). Anyway, but they REALLY turned it into an admin position. Very "what does the decision tree say to do" instead of "what does your brain tell you to do.". Needless to say: that ain't me. SO I heard about an assignment in anothr group and asked the lady in charge about it. She had to dash but was very happy I came by. I have NO details: not even sure if it will be my cup of tea, but we will see!
