in washington, everything is great. My folks are great, Erica did fantastic in the ride down. I think I have one of those wierd kids that don't sleep in the car, she was pretty much awake the whole way down. boo. She swam a bit, if you can call being dragged around in the pool swimming. had her first bit of mc donalds... all the inmportant things.

i am typing this on my mom's laptop. think sean is going to have to get me one of these. very nice. but i am ahving problems with caps... so you get none.

no gaming for a while. We are on vacation as of Wednesday. Driving down to Kensington Maryland, where my folks are: it's a 9.5 hour drive as per mapquest/GPS, so that means at least 12 with a toddler.  Doing it in 2 days wish me luck.

Got permission to come back to work for 7 hours (8-3) instead of the full 8. Fantastic! Going to raise my work/life balance just swimmingly.  Also found out through the grapvine who my new manager will be. He's cool, bit it's odd: I trained him. I guess a year and a half off (as well as being put on special projects before that) can kinda slow down your career, huh?  But who cares? I get paid just fine, my job is stable, I have no pressure AND I have a fantastic home life. I am truly blessed

Yes I am! I never realised how lucky I am to game with 202p ina Timmie Free Zone. I got an advance demo for Battlefield Bad Company. Had to game with Timmie. No fun whatso ever. the only time I did have fun was when I took the chopper, and just flew incircels while he BEGGED me to put him down. EAT IT TIMMIE! ( I think I said those words)

Truth be told: I just can't fly a chopper, I would have put him down, but it takes me a while to get used to things.

Okay, two questions about hte very end of Transformers. slight spoilers.

The guy and the girl eventually get together. So the VERY last shot of the movie, they are making out on top of the car (Bumblebee). Remember: it's not a car, it's an alien, it's a person. I mean they take pains to show that the Transformers have feeings. Anyway. They make out on top of the car. On top of their friend... while the other transformers WATCH!!! I mean how sick is THAT?
