The car ended up being totaled. I think the initial estimate on the body work alone was going to be $23,000. After waiting a few days on the insurance to let us know how much we would be getting as a settlement, we found out today that we will have enough from it to have a nice down payment on a new car. The fun part is actually finding and agreeing on the new addition. I can't make up my mind yet, but we're looking at maybe a Dodge Charger SRT-8. I test drove a brand new one yesterday afternoon and I liked it (except that it was bright red and $43,000).

When I was FINALLY picking up my rental (the rental place is right across from our body shop) the people from Progressive were looking at it. I could barely stand to even look over at it. Anyway I hope to know if it's totaled or not by this afternoon. Waiting sucks.

Is it 5pm yet? Been a rough day already. At 10 am we were already hoping that it was time to go home for the weekend. Definitely looking forward to it more so than usual. Blah.

And this rainy/cloudy DREARY weather isn't helping either. I'd like to just crawl into bed for a few hours.
