Forza Motorsport 2 Custom Graphics and Photos Guide on Xbox.com

Another article by Ryan Treit has appeared on the Forza 2 section of Xbox.com, this time about Custom Graphics and Photos. The article more or less covers the basics, but you never know when something basic turns out to be just the thing you were missing.

Bethesda Confirms Fallout 3 for Xbox 360

According to xboxic, Game Informer has leaked its July cover, which reveals that Fallout 3 will be coming to PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. This is exciting news to me, as now I can look forward to sitting back in my recliner with a cold drink next to me and a bag of chips in my lap and wipe the floor with some mutant scum. Now, that isn't to say that I 'm not excited to see it on the PC as well, but the 360 will probably be my platform of choice.

My First Forza 2 Custom Cars

I have been having a ball with Forza 2, racing (both online and off), buying cars from the auction house (and selling a couple also), and especially designing custom cars in the livery editor. I present here a few of my first designs. Click on any of them to see a full-sized view.

Drive Fast, Drive Smooth

Just posted on the Forza Motorsport 2 section of the Xbox.com site is "Drive Fast, Drive Smooth" by Ryan Treit - Tips and tricks to get you started in Turn 10's remarkably realistic simulation racer, Forza Motosport 2.

Head on over there and give it a look-see. Seems to have a lot of useful information. I know I'll give it a thorough read.

Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer Impressions

Ok, so after about a half hour of waiting, I finally got to watch the 2 1/2-minute-long Fallout 3 Teaser Trailer. While there wasn't much of it, what was there was nice. It seems to me that the feeling and atmosphere are spot-on, and the graphics and sound/music quality are just what I was expecting. I would have liked to see more, but for a teaser, it was pretty decent.

Update: I guess I should have mentioned that the teaser does give us a projected release date - Fall 2008. Not exactly "Coming Soon," but I'm still looking forward to it.

Fallout 3 Teaser Countdown Site Updated... No Teaser Yet...

Bethesda Softworks's Fallout 3 Teaser Countdown Site has been updated, but as of this writing, there is no teaser to be found. Instead, all we get is a large "Please Stand By" image in classic Fallout style. Perhaps we will get our Teaser later today. We can only hope.
