I live just six miles from Lawrence. Though I'm not a KU Allumn, I do feel pride for the local team. I didnt get much sleep last night after the game and when i did i was dreaming about it.  Since the KC Chumps let me down this year, it felt good to see one of my teams excel at something.

Now I probably will have to listen to the Mizzu fans here at work gripe about how VT handed KU the game, but I think KU played well. I think they were the reason for VT's troubles offensively and not just VT shooting themselves in the foot.

Well, this morning I walk into the office and saw that I had a voice message waiting for me. Assuming it was from a customer I'm thinking this is a sign of how my FRIDAY is going to be, busy from the get-go. But to my surprise it’s a message from the Dean at Devry University asking to speak with me about a potential Adjunct Faculty position.

Wahoo!!!

Well, this morning I walk into the office and saw that I had a voice message waiting for me. Anyway, it hasnt stopped me from running, completely anyways.  Losing motiviation here, need help!!!!

The North Shore Trail run a couple weeks ago was a blast.  First time I had done a Trail Run. That morning a cold front came in and it rained. Made the conditions prime for injury.  Cold and wet, muddy trails, muddy shoes, wet rocks.  The longest distance I had ran all summer was 5 or 6 miles and this run was 8.5 miles and on trails which makes it even more tough.

Now that the season is over for Triathlon, at least around here, its time to find something else to keep in shape for next year. 

Think I'll start off with the Second Annual North Shore Trail Run

It will be held tomorrow morning, 9/15, an 8.5 mile trail run at Clinton Lake, Lawernce KS.

Turned out to be a very nice morning. A nice cool front came in over night. The sun was out for the swim but then the sky turned overcast and stayed cool all morning.

Look what just moved in near my work.  Think I will go "GETME SUM"!
