I am so glad that KU whipped up on them Tarheels Saturday night.  I was so tired of the media making headlines with the Roy Williams ties to Kansas and how Hansborough was God's gift to basketball.  (Thank you refs for finally calling him out on this traveling at the end!)

My feeling was that if we had lost to UNC then it would just have compounded things. Now that we have prevailed, I hope that puts it all to rest. Its been 5 years and this is Bill Self's team.  It's over.  Please, the Media, let it rest!

Boy, have I had some tough luck this past year, injury after injury.

It started with the frist Triathlon last season and now just when things were going good and I was feeling healthy and getting excited again I've sustained a knee injury.

This one though is more severe than the other aches and pains.

1.) Pulled Calf and continued to have troubles with tightness in both calfs running and biking all summer long (finally over that)

2.) Left hamstring and arch in my right foot gives me problems, both of which seem to be ok now.

So I'm lying in bed, its 3am. I'm in a light sleep and can hear the train off in the distance passing by. Its quiet, calm, even the animals are asleep when all of a sudden I'm startled by words, "WHAT, YOU DONT LIKE MY FUCKING COOKING!?!?!?!". In my confusion I simply replied, 'huh?'. Then she responds, "THEN WHY DID YOU SWITCH DISHES?". Again I go 'huh?". Then she, my wife, rolls over and everything goes quiet. I make mental note not to forget this and bring it up the next morning and we have a good laugh.

So I Immediatlely redemmed my points and pulled down Poker Smash. 

I was going through the mail yesterday when I came across what looked to be some kind of junk mail. I decided to go ahead and open it, usually something like this just gets tossed. I live just six miles from Lawrence. Though I'm not a KU Allumn, I do feel pride for the local team. I didnt get much sleep last night after the game and when i did i was dreaming about it.  Since the KC Chumps let me down this year, it felt good to see one of my teams excel at something.

Now I probably will have to listen to the Mizzu fans here at work gripe about how VT handed KU the game, but I think KU played well. I think they were the reason for VT's troubles offensively and not just VT shooting themselves in the foot.
