O.M.F.G Thank you!!

It used to be fun to try and keep up with all the PC hardware and what is the best bang for the buck, but now I don't have time for that. I'm glad someone else does.

Futuremark, the people that make 3DMark, which is a very popular synthetic benchmarking tool, have collected all the submitted data and created an excellent price/performance comparison data. I am upgrading my PC soon and this is going to make my decision fantastically simple.

Shadowrun still sucks...

I hated this game and felt totally ripped off by its lack of content and myriad of bugs and technical issues.

Thank you, that is all.

How much is that?

$19 Billion dollars. How much is that? Is that even a number that you can comprehend? Well, that is how much money the video game industry pulled in last year. It's a staggering figure to say the least. I am personally responsible for a least a few hundred of that.

I know for me it is difficult to encapsulate a number like that. I took the liberty of running some numbers to figure out how much money that really is. First, let's look at that number and all the zeros.

Halo 3 dethroned already?

http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2008/01/21/live-activity-for-week-of-1-14.aspx

I am a little bias because I am not a Halo 3 fan, but I have to say I am not 100% surprised by this.  Less and less people on my friends' list have been playing Halo 3, and I only play it when I join a group of friends that has a regular weekly game.

If they ever make another Halo FPS I hope they license a real engine.
