OSU really let me down

I had to turn it off after the turnover near the end of the 4th quarter.  It just hurt to watch.  Rough, sloppy play by the defense sealed the coffin for them.

What a disappointment.  :-(

I am getting old...

I had a trip to Urgent Care on Saturday for a sore throat that just didn't feel right.  My fears were soon realized, I have strep throat.  While I was there, I had them look at a finger that was bothering me from when I was playing football on Thanksgiving.  ...and yes, it's broken.  It's also broken in a funny place.  The doctor has suggested that I get it checked out, and so now I have an appointment with an orthopedist to make sure I don't need surgery.  Super happy funtime!!

Free DLC or cheaper games...right?

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6182873.html

Sadly, I doubt it.  As of right now, the DLC pricing for GHIII is the same ridiculous amount it was for GHII.  It's amazing to me that gamers would stand for a move like this and the publishers would have the audacity to expect consumers to stomach it without providing something in return.  Like, you know...all those multi-million dollar television shows that play on network television.  Guess what, they are supported with advertisements and product placement.

Joost Beta -- The devil is in the details.

Joost - Free online TV

For those who haven't heard Joost is this great new Internet TV service provided to you free of charge. They have an amazing lineup of programming and their software is currently in public beta. I was excited to try it out and I downloaded it and was all set to install it. However, I am one of those weird guys that actually reads EULAs and TOSs and all that kind of stuff. Let me save you the headaches and outline some scary stipulations before you actually decide to install this software.
