Favorite games

Top 5 games for each, according to how much I enjoyed playing it and how much I played it.  Some of these are really hard, I loved a lot of different games, but I tried to stick with what I liked best.

PC
1. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
2. Call of Duty 1
3. Age of Empires
4. Rome: Total War
5. Company of Heroes

Multiplayer achievement busts

I hesitate to call myself a gamerscore ho, but I do like to earn as many achievement points for a game as possible.  I like to play a variety of games rather than just stick to one title.  I've played the snot out of COD4 and COD3, and other games in the past. COD3 multiplayer achievements were pretty rough, and honestly most people stuck with COD2 because COD3's lobby was the suck.

Reality TV

Normally I'm not much of a reality TV person.  The wife got me in to American Idol this past year, mainly because a couple of the contestants were from my home state, and one was only about 40 miles from us.  I was rooting for David Cook the whole way, so I was glad that he pulled out the win.  I didn't think we needed another female country singer, as they all tend to sound the same to me.  Glad to see an original rocker type win it.

Thinking about denouncing your US citizenship?

Thinking about denouncing your US citizenship?  Well, if you do, you will now pay financial penalties for it.  Just passed by Congress was a new law that stops a good amount of your capital at the border if you decide not to be a US citizen anymore.

Black Gold

Not sure if anyone is watching the "Black Gold" show on Tru TV.  My brother was a roughneck and driller for several years during the 70's Oklahoma oil boom.  I've always been fascinated with the stories he'd tell and pictures he drew of his rigs.  If you haven't watched it you should give it a shot, it's pretty good stuff and from what my brother has told me it's fairly accurate as to what goes down on rig.  It airs on Wednesday nights on Tru Tv.

Every time I hear "Black Gold" I think of the Beverly Hillbillies song, "Black Gold, Texas T"........  :)
