I guess we got hit with a pretty bad thunderstorm last night, I crashed hard after my 4+ hour fantasy football draft and slept through the whole thing. On my way to work, which usually takes 15 minutes or so, a few of the traffic lights are down and everyone decides to forget on what to do at a four way stop and I arrive at work after a 45 minute trip. I get there only to find we have no power, no phones and of course no computers. But we are told it should only be an hour "or so" before the power should be restored.

Just got home from a four hour draft for fantasy football for a league through work. For the first time in my life I got the first pick in the draft!!!! Of course I picked San Diego Running back L. Tomlinson - for the past four years every league I have been in the player with Tomlinson has won!!! I could use the extra money - got my fingers crossed.

Operator's sound is a fusion of Soundgarden meets Velvet Revolver which equals nothing too new but a great and solid first album. The music mines from the same blues-metal goldmine as AC/DC and the like, but with enough melody that the album should appeal to more than just metalheads. Plus with names like singer Johnny Strong and guitarist Rikki Lixx, how can you go wrong?
