More changes keep a comin!

All Technologists have now been changed from Salaried to Hourly.  I am to learn AAI (ankle and arm indexes, to check for Peripheral Vascular disease), and to learn EECP (how to aid congestive heart failure patients externally with increasing blood flow to the coronary arteries) in addition to being the primary Cat Scan Tech.

Starting my Bachelor's of Science in Marketing/Management in March.  8 week courses...yay!

My Textiles and Consumer Sociology courses at the Community college end May 14th.

My husband says I'm a pessimist.  I've gone full blown into "Operation Career Change" and have been over the past month, constantly afraid of losing my job.  No patients to scan. They're going to cut me! I scream like a banshee into his ear, and he waves me as a pessimist.

Before I lay me down to sleep,I pray for a man who's not a creep, One who's handsome, smart and strong.. One who loves to listen long, One who thinks before he speaks, One who'll call, not wait for weeks. I pray he's rich and self-employed, And when I spend, won't be annoyed. Pull out my chair and hold my hand. Massage my feet and help me stand.. Oh send a king to make me queen... A man who loves to cook and clean.. I pray this man will love no other. And relish visits from my mother....

Maybe I didn't get the memo, while I spent Saturday buying a shiny new laptop, *drool*, I arrive at work Monday, to find all the girls spent their Saturday's getting new do's and spa treatments.

OY. I'm a nerd.  *sigh* Oh well.  I HAVE a LAPTOP that suits all my needs, and I can wear a HAT. So....there.

In gaming news, I have but the Hunter left to complete on Borderlands. In order:

Beserker = 50. Staying stagnant until someone needs a MP homie.

I love college.  I love Textiles.  I love Sociology.  There is a trip to New York City for a Fashion Convention and another in Las Vegas, called Magic.  I can NOT afford all of these!  However, the Gods smiled down, and there IS a road trip to LA in March.  THAT, is swingable.  So, LA, here I come with my crew of 15 women and 4 gay guys.  Yes, I am sorry, but I swear that there are NO straight men in Fashion.  Or at least in my cramped class of Design and Merchandising students.
