You may have heard by now that Forza 3 is official and coming to us this fall. As part of the hoopla surrounding this, a cover contest is being held in the Forza web site forums. To the best of my knowledge, this is not sponsored officially by game developers Turn 10. Prizes include in-game credits and Forza 2 cars, which in a few months will be obsolete anyway. Winnings entries won't be the new box art, as that has already been released. However, some of these entries are good enough that they probably SHOULD be the new box art.

My sister finally convinced me to get another dog. It been a few months since my beloved British yellow Labrador retriever, Suede, had to be put down for old age. She had been suffering badly and although it tore me apart, I can only hope it relieved her pain.

I remember crossing the border at around 2 a.m. one time and getting a pretty hard time of it myself. The single occupant of a large 1977 Chevrolet Impala crossing into the United States in the middle of the night must have, I admit, sent up red flags for the border guard. This is especially true when my only reason for entry was given as "tourism". I know I spoke clearly enough that the word was not confused with another that sounds similar, but he still gave me a pretty funny look. This was also prior to 9-11 so "terrorism" might have been a little further from his mind.

I guess nobody liked yesterday's blog entry. Someone was kind enough even to give me my first negative rating. Well thank you very much.

After hearing about that fellow beaten by off-duty cops because of his color, I just felt sick to my stomach. But I guess that's just me. No one else finds anything wrong with that. In fact, they don't even want to know about it.
