 I hope all had a good Christmas. We have had a blast even if our "white" Christmas has been sand instead of snow. My sugar levels are remaining high no matter what I do. I've ate enough chicken to lay an egg and been watching the carbs. I did treat myself to a bison cheesesteak that was better than you'd think for. It sucks that we have to leave Sunday to celebrate Christmas again with Pop on the farm. If anyone wants to give me a million dollars for a house, I'll be more than happy to donate one week a month free for life for your giving.lol. Any takers..........I didn't think so.

  Well, we made it as far as Montgomery Al today. As I wrote yesterday My sugar shot up yesterday so I woke up today with a splitting headache that nearly turned into a mirgraine. It sucks to have a hangover when you've done nothing at all to derserve one. It's been cold today as well with hi's in the low 40's. Cool for the south here anyway. bless my wife's heart, it scares her when my sugar shoots up so she was awake most of the night. She has to be sure I'm okay. No wonder she's the love of my life and always will be.

   As most of you know, we decided to go to Fla. for the holidays this year. We're about the half-way point fo us  and due to our health conditions, we stopped for the night. We had a nice dinner and made it to our room. Something disagreed with my diabetes because  my sugar level hit 489! I still hate shots and needless to say tonight's was a big one. i had a grilled hambuger for dinner and had I known this I guess i'd gotten a steak instead and maybe key lime pie. I know, "bad diabetc" but at least then it would've had a reason to be that high.
