I met my Japanese tutor at Dennys today. Yes, they have Dennys in Japan. A restaurant chain bought the name from what I understand. It actually is nothing like Dennys beside the name and that it looks like a dinner. No hamburgers, rice and sake, its all bizzaro Dennys. I had the rice omlet and some tea. My sensei had salad with fish eggs on it.

Today went well. I only have four classes on Friday. I am torn between my easy going nature and my desire for the school to do well. I will just enjoy the easy day while I can and hope for more classes soon. My other days have been filling up nicely. Most teachers in my company expect about seven classes a day. Some private and some group classes.

My name is Trey, and I'm a 29 year old English Foreign Language teacher working in Japan. I am living in the country in Gunma now, and am hoping to move near Tokyo or another major city this April. I have been asked to do a blog a few times while telling stories, and the website here seems to make it easy and has a good community. So this will be my attempt. That's enough about me for now.
