They have a lot of random fun promotions in the Japan McDonalds but I found this one fun and took a picture.

Was this released in the US too?

Also available, The MCprawn. (shrimp burger) and A bigmac with egg replacing one of the meat slices. I will see if I can dig up the old pictures.

I had a burger in England from a McDonalds that was lamb meat...I think it might have even been called the McLamb. The fries were in a big bag and had curry powder instead of salt on them.

are hot dogs that rare in Japan? and is that a breakfast menu that is advertising it? (I see a hashbrown and coffee in the picture)

Yes its a breakfast item....I know...They have hot dogs but they put salsa and weird such on them. Also Corn Dogs are called American Dogs here.

hmm....salsa on a hotdog....I'll have to try that. Wait, is it normal salsa or is it like Jellyfish salsa or something strange like that? I know you sometimes have to ask that when Japan is concerned.
