The Intelligence Revolution

It is harder to see a thing from within a thing, but it is possible. Copernicus proved this to be true. To a degree we still have a flawed idea of the nature of humanity. Many people believe the universe to be human centric, when the more practical of us understands this can not be true. There is more evidence that we are a consequence of the mulitverse, as opposed to the purpose of the multiverse.

2057: On the Verge of Singularity

Futurists and speculators are constantly trying to imagine the next big thing.  In this special from 2007, many of our world's top minds, including Dr. Michio Kaku, speculate on the technology and social construct of our world in 2057.

What will our society look like on the verge of singularity?

How will perceptions of individualism and privacy be different from what we know today?

How will technology be incorporated into our daily lives?

For those who missed it the first time around, I present:

2057

Part 1: The Body

How does understanding the brain impact future technologies?

As technology progresses, so does our understanding of the "nature of human kind".  As we develop a deeper understanding of who we are, we develop a deeper understanding of how we think and the processes that go into our own decisions.

In this episode of Nova: Science Now, Neil Degrasse Tyson takes us through a journey that shows us what scientists are doing to answer the question "How does our brain work?"

What is the Singularity, and why is it coming?

In today's world it is increasingly harder to avoid any sort of technological advancement. This constant interactivety with high technologies are literally changing the way we think and the way our brains work. The internet is bringing the world together in amazing ways, at exponential speeds. As a society we have embraced this reality and have subcosciously accepted the loss of privacy and individualism in return for expediancy and knowledge.
