You know, a lot of my solutions to the worlds problems sound the same.

Do you remember when you were a kid, you would take things just because you didn't want your brother/sister to have them? Then a ig fight broke out until a parent came over and took the toy away. Your parents told you that if you can't act like adults and learn to share and get along, then no one could have it?

The Palestinian conflict is one of many worldwide just like that. Fighting for the sake of fighting, each side says they have a right to the land. Each side saying the other started the hostilities, history has become so convoluted the truth is lost forever.... and they keep on fighting, just because they hate each other.  Folks on both sides of this type of conflict, kill each other in a never ending circle of revenge. killing for the sake of killing.
Turn Palestine it into a dumping ground for the nastiest stuff you can find, nuclear waste, toxic chemicals, and 55 gallon drums of used condoms. Don't bury em. Just spread the stuff around by airplane. If it means that much to you to live there, go ahead, live there.  Every short sighted, land grabbing, car bombing, it's the will of god asshole would flock there, Palestinian and Israeli alike and have blind toothless mutant sodomite retard babys. In a few generations, no one would want it and folks would find something else to fight over.

 

It works with 6 year olds...

The place pretty much is already unlivable. I'm often reflective if whether or not I like where I'm at in life. But then I think about the fact that no zealot asshole has fired a rocket at me from the neighboring county, nor has some government douche-bag bulldozed my house because somebody said my brother was selling blackmarket cigarettes. At least not this week....yet.

The conflicts in the Middle East will never really be understood or resolved by westerners. Eastern cultures care deeply about the past and their history. Americans don't know what happened 100 years ago let alone yesterday. Let them keep fighting - and let the US just stay out of it.

Eastern knolwdge of their history (or our ignorance of... well, everything) dosen't change human nature. I understand pettyness and stupidity, shortsightedness, stuborness. hatred and greed. This is the nature of men and therefore the nature of their goverments and cultures. They are the ones who don't understand what they are doing. If they did, they'd stop. I agree we should just stay out, it's not our job (or right) to police them (nor can we consider ourselves or our our culture any better) It just disgust me sometimes that we act like children, and I sometimes wish a parent figure would come in and stard paddling asses. But that's wishful thinking. The blog post is just meant as an illustration of how rediculous the whole situation is. (The mental image of this solution does make me smile though) =)
