     I was disapointed in the single player campagin. They did a good job of telling the story and engaging my emotions as I was shown the brutality of the N. Korean occupierers. However, the AI of my squadmates was irritating. They would block me from moving, and the levels had plenty of things for my character to get his feet caught on. I got stuck on a clothes line of dirty clothes, a tricicle, small bushes, a flower bed... irritating.

     So I'm done with Reach. I have my opinions but I won't debate whether or not it is, "flawed."  It just isn't fun for me. I'll still get on for clan nights and mabey once in a while in between, but for the most part you won't see me. I really, REALLY enjoyed playing with all of you. Full party teams of BTB in H3 were a blast! I came to recognize your voices and your playing styles. I enjoyed the teamwork and comraderie.

     I've had this sinking feeling for the last few weeks. I find myself swearing at my TV screen an awful lot more than normal. I only can play a few games at a time, I used to play for hours. I look forward to games ending so I can go do something else more fun and relaxing, like the dishes.

Here are my issues in no particular order.

Shocks are too stiff on vehicles, maps have terrain that is too rough. I can't drive anywhere without fliping over and the gunner can't get a bead on a target. What's the point of driving?

So I just went to the trouble to type this out elsewhere, and I thought I would share it here as well. If you are a serious animal lover you may not want to read it. Just remember, this was almost 20 years ago...

I must be turning into a hippie or something, because this really got my attention. The article is about... well, a lot of things. A Government beauracracy deisgned to protect a few people that ends up hurting all of us. Agents arresting people in church parking lots and siezing goods in stings. Corporations that manipulate nature and make money at the expense of others. Evolution, and coevolution of our bodies, our food and certain microbes. Theories about the huge spike in auto immune diseases in modern people.

Work has finaly slowed down, and wouldn't you know it...the wife goes on a trip to Australia and New Zealand for 17 days. Although I love her dearly and miss her already, this means several things.

1.I will be eating all the stinky foods she hates

2. I will be taking my pants off when I hit the front door (going in, not going out)

3. I will be on a first name basis with the owner of  the liquor store down the street.

4. I will be spending quality time with the 360 mistress again... lots.
