Well as most of you already know they didn't quite live up to the hype. I've owned two of them and had to return them due to running way too loud and hot. But that's another story. My point is that now Sony is hurting so bad that according to talkingaboutgames.net they are going to be giving a $150 discount to folks who qualify for their Playstation Visa card. First of all, who wants to admit that they even have a Playstation Visa card. It reminds me of that commercial where the guy tries to pay for lunch during his business meeting with a credit card with a superhero on it and they laugh at him. Secondly, how bad off are you when you have to do these types of marketing tactics to sell your product. I am not a fanboy of any console. I am a gamer so save the "fanboy" hate posts. If they took the time to make their product deliver on what it promised, they wouldn't have to resort to these strategies. I wish that they would have taken the time to do it right the first time. Since they didn't, they're always going to be one step behind.
