Wohoo, this one went for USD $700.00 buck-o-roo's. Yep, before shipping - it was a "buy it now" and someone did.

I love Sony! They make it so awesome to make money!!

I was at a local discount dept store and they announced they had received a couple. After about 20 minutes I stolled over and was surprised the units were not sold and were the 60gb type. They still were not sold after another 30 minutes. I guess the market has really gone out for the ps3. Good going taking that lazy mark. Might as well be camping above a spawn point...

Well, remember, not everyone in the US or otherwise is near a store that gets them. If your near a big city you've probably seen them for weeks in big stacks. Yet, out in gods country or some back mountain area, they may not have them yet. This one is going to someone in NY. I'm guessing cow country NY and not NY City, else they're truly lazy :) CodeMonkey

Never underestimate a New Yorkers laziness. I once watched my friend call and order one single 12oz can of coke to be delivered from the market 2 doors down from him.

Actually, I'd guess city ny. more population = more chance they are sold out. However, in my town of 60000 there is 4 ps3s at target.
