And now for something cool

Its been a while guys so I'm sorry for the 0 updates on the new stuff. This past weekend I finally started to put the finishing touches on the clan pages and let me just say I am pretty excited. For now clan leaders will be able to post news, show a detailed member list, have a clan recruitment page, and design their own little section of 2o2p for their clan.

Unlike the blogs where members can only change the background, clan members will be able to change title colors, font colors, background colors, header colors, box colors and so on. All this and each clan page will keep track of all the latest forum posts as well. My hope is that we can build even more on this in the near future once we get the thing running and have all the members testing it. As always this will be free for any overlord on the site and I hope you guys are as excited about it as I am. Once we get near the final stages we hope to get the URLs working to mimic the blogs with URLS like www.profanity.2old2play.com, but that's more towards the end. I also would like to get clan calendars up and running after this test so more clans can create their own clan schedules. The real reason for this will be adding those schedules to the home page so all members can see what clans are up too. What better then a site wide recruiting tool?

The other great news is that the SCC is now done and should be launching right around the same time as the clan pages. This will unlock a couple new features that have yet to be announced (friends lists?) as well as allow forum/clan leaders to add extra forums to the clan area. I wish I could say more, but Im actually late for a WoW raid and I know how my guild members get. I'll be back later to check on the comments. L8!
