Wow, all I can say is that was a ton of fun.  It was interesting to see how many complete strangers could actually be so cool to play with.  Oddly enough I did get some strange hate mail PMs which was pretty odd, but for the most part people were really cool and just wanted to play in some nocheating gears matches.  Good times. 

Welcome to all the new poeple who have just joined.  I hope you all find some good homes with one of our many clans.  If not, there is always making your own! 

Im any case I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped put this together.  To our new community leader Waterborn who made this happen and all the other 2o2p members that came online to help out.  I hope we can do this more in the future.  Thanks again!

I was surprised yesterday my son a notorious TIMMY told me he saw 2O2P hostng this event and I think the lil guys were kinda jealous WTG guys!!!!!!!!!

It could have been kewl. Cept I spent 3 hours sending texts, and waiting for invites in the game menu, and got to play for about 30 min.

I joined 2o2p because of this event. Mostly because it's for adults! Even though I literally started playing Gears like 2 days ago, I still had a lot of fun (even if mostly I was a spectator, flipping through people or cameras, haha) Next time.. one room for n00bs! Nunder.. I'm not sure what happened people were trying to send out invites from our room and it was just not happening. I haven't played online games with people for over a year now.. this has been a lot of fun!

Sounds like Gears 2 has a busted lobby/mm system like Gears 1 had in regards to invites. I took a screen capture of the ad for posterity. Did your xbox miss you doodi?

I didn't play Gears tonight, but the even was obviously a success. I've noticed a lot of new people in the forums lately. I hope they feel as welcome as I did... er do.

doodi, glad you got your roll on. We were neck deep in invites and people all night long. We even sent some 2old2play folks off to set up more rooms due to the overwhelming response. Good times. Nunder, I am sorry about the frustrations that you had to deal with tonight. I personally sent you several invites and tried to get you into our room. We were cycling folks in and out all night. If you send me a pm to remind me, I will make sure that you get into some GOW rooms soon. Tonight was chaotic, and unfortunately, a bit difficult to control at times. But we do want you to return, so let me know how I can help.

I met the coolest guy tonight who just happened to join my party tonight. His name is Gino and he rawks at Gears. All of the other newbies in my party were cursing his name for pwning them too hard. I made sure that the 9 yr old in the room was on his team always. :P tonight was fun. interesting, but fun. no, i cant get you recon armor. no, there arent any prizes. yes, i know someone at bungie. no, i didn't do anything special to get my tag posted. yes, i do kinda such at this. no, you can't have my number.

Yeah it was a great time...first time playing GoW2 online. Had some cool people show me the ropes...stomped doodi's face a couple of times :)
