Well, sometimes even I can get lucky. I just got an email confirming that I will be one of the few to join in the Halo 3 Beta! I'm so excited that I think I peed my pants. I'm going to set up a thread in the forums for all the people that have been chosen so that we might be able to play with each other once it is released. First the bears win now this! Maybe I should play the lottery today?

While I did have an email titled 'Halo 3 Beta Announcement' in my inbox, it was just to tell me that the enrollment was closed and I would be hearing within 2 days. It's my most spammed email account, so odds are I'll wind up deleting the invite any way.

Congrats....so the question now is did you also get the generic message from 'Xbox Flash' saying invites are coming in the next couple of days? \r \r A few people including me have received the other one entitled 'Halo 3 Beta Announcement'--I wonder if its secret for 'you didn't get picked'

Yes I got both emails. One that said I would have to wait. In fact, I got that email first and was totally bummed out. so then I just hit refresh on a whim and BOOM, there it was! WOOOOOOOOTSSSSS!
