Tournaments Ready

So I finally finished the majority of the tournament setup and software this week. So to set it off, we are going to have a Xbox 360 COD tournament to test out the functions and set up. It will be an 8 team double elimination style tourny. There may be bugs, but I just want people to get a feel for the software while I tweak out any issues. This Monday would mark the first site tournament to test out the site in a live state with actual site teams.

To check out the first tourny, you can use the site navigation at the top and simply click on the Tournaments tab. There you will see the Call Of Duty Mixed Bag tournament. The tournament will hold 8 teams of 6 and will randomly select your bracket standings as you sign up. Make sure you read the rules before you guys get your teams together. You can up to 8 players on a team but no team can play more then 6v6 and as little as 4v4 during any given match.

Settings will be switched each week regardless if you have played your match or not. That means one week could be Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Domination while the next could be Domination, Deathmatch, Domination. The tournaments leader (stang) will choose that order. All matches should be set up in the comp forum. Having a record of your agreed upon time will only help in case of forfeit or scheduling issues.
