Shared on Wed, 05/28/2008 - 15:39The man started his new route at work last night....his hours used to be 8-5 M-F, his hours now are S-Th 4pm to anywhere between 12-5am...and it sucks!!! Yeah, he got a dollar an hour raise...but with his new schedule we won't be seeing each other very much :( I'll basically only see him for an hour after he wakes up to go to work and for an hour or two after he gets home....and I don't like it!! I am not a real needy person....except for when it comes to spending time with my man. I don't ask for gifts, or dinners, or going out much...I just want him. Yeah girlie and needy it may be...but I don't care...I luvs him and I wants him around!! :P It'll only be for a few months...so it isn't too bad, I can deal with it...but I just won't be all giggly about it at all, lol.
I'm still looking for a job...and job hunting officially sucks, but I'm looking. For shits and giggles I applied to a P.I. firm, for stakeouts of whores and such. I haven't heard anything from them....but I wasn't really expecting to. I did think it would be funny as shit if I did though, lol. I have effectively applied for every damn job in Springfield I do believe...well except for certain jobs that I am not qualified for or that I have zero interest in doing. I have applied for AP, AR, Data Entry, Receptionist, Secretary, Office Manager....blah blah blah...many times over. I get interviews, I get second interviews...and then I get a phone call or a card in the mail or an email saying "Thank you for applying with *insert company that won't hire me here*. While you are well qualified, we decided to go with someone else." or some shit like that. It sucks monkey balls!! I am about ready to go to McD's or something just so I can have some fucking money.
I had my kiddo here last night, my oldest. He and I played Halo until after 4 am, lol....he had a blast playing with everyone, so thanks guys for not being too harsh on him. :) Internet shit on my at the very end so I said fuck it....sorry I missed the end of that game....I would have loved to stick around to get our asses kicked a bit longer, lol.

Found this world clock today...it's pretty interesting. It tracks world population, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, bikes manufactured, abortions, cars, oil...all sorts of stuff. You can set it to track for the year, month, day, from any moment you hit the 'Now' button....pretty cool.
Some things I have noticed while watching it:
*The earths temperature rises constantly in a weird way....I am going to have to look at it later to see why and if it's a continuous thing.
*There is a new illegal immigrant every minute or so.
*There are more abortions every day than marriages.
*So far today we have pumped 52,966,393 barrels of oil as of the second that I copied the number....it rises at an alarming rate.
*Heart disease is still the big killer, kills more than twice the amount of people than any other disease or injury.
*Computers are produced at more than twice the rate of cars.
And a bunch of other stuff....I find it really interesting to hit the 'Now' button and see how fast things add up....crazy shit!
