Stuff and etc....part 2

Things are going well, but still super busy. We closed on the house July 24th and are now the proud owners of our very own home. w00t! Spent the last two weeks moving, cleaning, painting, and repeating...over and over and over. Loving getting it all set up the way we want, knowing that it is ours and no one can tell us we can't paint or that we can't have pets, and that our money now goes to something that is ours, not some asshat who doesn't care about his property anyways. Pics are below.

As for the wedding, everything is still slightly on hold. I have some bridal shows to go to this month and next...afterward we will start getting things set up and in motion...I can't wait!

And to my little guy, Jordan...thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers....we were finally able to get his testing done. Took a battery of tests for a week and they have decided that he is a pretty severe hypoglycemic. Basically, he just wasn't eating often enough to keep his sugar levels steady and when they dropped that day it threw him into a seizure. His step mother notified his father and I that he's been 'blacking out' for a while now but she hadn't thought anything of it. Great job for a so called fucking nurse. Anyways, we have to feed him 6 small meals a day, making sure to feed him high protein and complex carb foods. Not as bad as I had feared, but if we don't keep things in check there are more serious health issues that could arise. They also did some x-rays and other tests to find what was causing his headaches, back and shoulder pain. They found out that he has a 'reverse curvature of the neck' or something like that. His neck curves outward instead of inward. They aren't giving us many options with it, just saying that the pain can be 'managed' but it will last for the rest of his life if it isn't fixed...unfortunately the only way to actually fix it is a surgery that could possibly paralyze him or be potentially fatal. So, thinking we are going to need a second opinion on treatment for this issue...but I have no idea where to start. Keep him in your thoughts if you could...I need him to be okay....at least until he's 80 or so. :)

Looks like a nice place. If you can, check out the Cleveland Clinic. The have an awesome pediatric ortho department. My oldest had both feet "rebuilt" there.

Thats looks great D, I like the hardwood floors as well as how they set the tiles at an angle in the kitchen. Doesnt look like it needs anything to move on in......well maybe the wallpaper accent along the top walls in the kitchen might have ta go. ;-)

I'm a type 1 diabetic and I experience hypoglycimia on a daily basis so I know how your little one feels. I have been living with this for over 20 years and it can be a lot to deal with as a youngster. If anything positive is to come out of this sitution, it will be that you little guy will be better in touch with the importance of nutrition and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Glad to hear that your son has an apparently treatable condition concerning the hypoglycemia and hopefully the neck problem has some other remedy that might work out for you. I can't believe his step mother's attitude concerning the black outs. A question. Is the ceiling actually patterned or is it just a camera issue?
