Well...

We have a new puppy...his name is Obi, short for Obi Wan Kenobi of course.  We didn't intend upon getting one for a while, not until we moved....but circumstances as they were, I just plain had to...I think you will understand why I had to break the agreement Sic and I had.   

I went to the grocery store after work today to pick up some steaks for dinner to celebrate the 'anniversary' of my moving in with Sic....really, I just wanted steak so it was a good excuse.  :D  As I was putting my cart away in the little cart yard I heard this barking, crying, squealing noise coming from near me.  I look around and notice a big box in one of the carts and the noise seemed to be coming from there.  So, because I'm nosy like that, I go and move the other carts out of the way and peer into the box.....and it's a puppy.  A beautiful puppy and he is just panting and crying and I almost cried too.  But, Sic had said we couldn't have any puppies until we moved...so I smoked a cigarette by my car hoping someone would pick up the puppy and take it home...no one did, so I brought the little guy home with me.  We did have to stop by Mc. D's though to get some cold water in a hurry for him (I didn't want to leave him in the hot car alone, even for a few minutes to run in somewhere)  he lapped it up like he hadn't had anything to drink in ages.   

He seems to be a pretty good puppy, can't be more than 6 or 7 weeks old, and I think he's a Labrador/Golden Retriever mix...absolutely gorgeous.  He hasn't pooed in the house at all, but has twice outside and peed outside 5 or 6 times as well.  I hope he's a good puppy and we can hide him from the owners until we move...but I just couldn't leave him out there to die.  Still makes me sad, a little pissed off, that someone would do that to such a beautiful and well behaved puppy. 

Anyways..I'll post pics of his awesomeness tomorrow.....he is so cute!!
