And out of the blue...

... came someone from high school. I got a msg from someone in my high school band via facebook. This was someone I'd entirely forgotten about (if I ever knew them at all). After several "who the hell are you" type of msgs, I finally had some glimmer of recollection. We decided to meet up for pool last night. I had such a marvelous time, and it was nice to meet (although technically we met 15 years ago) someone with whom I have a common background. We were out til 3:30am, needless to say that today was a very long ass day. I had open house at school, so I ended up working 13 hrs after 2 1/2 hrs sleep. It was totally worth it though. We talked forEVER and got caught up with our lives and mutual friends, etc. What a great evening! :) Looking forward to this weekend, as we're going out again. I never would have ever expected to enjoy myself that much. Yay me.
